ISHAL PAITHRKAM (ISSN:2582-550X) is a Peer Reviewed Academic Journal Published by Mahakavi Moyinkutty Vaidyar Mappila Kala Academy, Kondotty. The Academy functions under Department of Cultural Affairs Government of Kerala. The Journal is in UGC Care List.
Aim of the Journal
Being a peer reviewed academic journal, Ishal Paithrkam promotes research works on language, literature, humanities, and social science. Academic papers, articles based on research, case studies, interviews, and book reviews are preferred for publication.
Scope of the Journal
The journal is envisioned as a platform to disseminate worthy research output at free of cost among academics and general public. It is funded by Government of Kerala.

Functioning under the Ministry of Culture, Government of Kerala, the sole revenue source of the academy is the plan and non-plan fund allotted time to time by the government.
